What do the numbers on your tyres mean?

Example: 1115 ........ 180/60 ZR17 M/C (73) TL ........ 2015


1115

This is the date stamp which indicates when the tyre was made so this example would be 11th week in 2015

180

This is the width of the tyre measured in MM across the widest section of the tyre

60

This is the aspect ratio height of the tyre indicated as a percentage of the width of the tyre. So in this example the height is 60% of 180mm (width) which is 108mm

ZR

The Z indicates the speed rating of the tyre. As shown below (source) different letters represents different speeds the tyre is capable of handling
The R simply indicates it is a RADIAL tyre

This number indicates the size of rim the tyre will fit in inches

M/C

This is to indicate the tyre is design for a MOTORCYCLE
